About this opportunity
The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded postgraduate award that enables talented people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. The award is merit-based, with the purpose of developing public-spirited leaders, and scholars come to the UK for two or more years, applying to study most full-time postgraduate courses at Oxford. Applications are made through eligible Rhodes constituencies, each of which publishes its own deadlines and requirements.
The scholarship covers University of Oxford course fees and provides an annual stipend. Following selection, the Rhodes Trust also covers the fee required to apply to study at Oxford, fees for a student visa and the associated International Health Surcharge, two economy-class flights to and from the UK, and a settling-in allowance on arrival in Oxford; scholars who transition to a second course in Oxford receive assistance with visa-renewal and further health-surcharge fees. Scholars join a global, lifelong community representing more than 70 countries, centred on Rhodes House in the heart of Oxford, and receive pastoral and financial support from the Trust's dedicated Scholar Team throughout their time as scholars.
The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship offered by Rhodes Trust for applicants heading to United Kingdom.
