About this opportunity
The Global Korea Scholarship is the Korean government's invited scholarship degree program for outstanding international students, run by the National Institute for International Education through Study in Korea. It combines one year of Korean language training with a degree program at one of more than 80 GKS universities nationwide, and covers airfare, Korean language training fees, tuition, and monthly allowances. Applicants apply through the embassy track, via a Korean embassy or consulate, or the university track, directly to a GKS university. After the language year, degree study lasts two to three years for associate degrees, four to six years for bachelor's degrees, two years for master's degrees, and three years for doctoral degrees.
The Global Korea Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship offered by National Institute for International Education for applicants heading to South Korea.
