Exeter Excellence Scholarships 2027/28 Postgraduate Taught (Masters)

University of Exeter

Overview

About this opportunity

The Exeter Excellence Scholarships 2027/28 offer 150 international postgraduate taught students a GBP 15,000 reduction in first year tuition fees for entry in 2027/28, celebrating the University of Exeter rise to 136th globally in the QS World University Rankings. The awards cover UK campus based postgraduate taught masters degrees in Environment, Science and Economy, Health and Life Sciences, and Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, starting in September 2027. You must have international fee status, including EU applicants required to pay international fees in 2027/28, already hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible programme, and be self funded. Selection is on academic merit, with applicants expected to show the equivalent of a UK upper second class degree (2:1), plus academic and career ambitions, a clear plan for making the most of the study opportunity, and a sense of social responsibility and willingness to engage with the Exeter community. The scholarship application needs a personal statement of no more than 300 words, in two parts of up to 150 words each.

Utrecht University NL Scholarship 2027

The Utrecht University NL Scholarship 2027 is a partial scholarship for international students from outside the European Economic Area who start an international masters programme at Utrecht University on 1 September 2027. Financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, it offers EUR 5,000, EUR 10,000 or EUR 15,000 in the first year of study. Not all programmes participate, so you must check the tuition fees and financial support information on your chosen masters programme page. Selection is based on your academic background as shown in your masters programme application, your motivation explaining the relevance of your time in the Netherlands and at Utrecht University to your future goals, and the quality and feasibility of your financial plan. You must complete a Statement of Financial Resources showing how you will cover the remaining costs for the full nominal duration of the programme, because the scholarship covers only part of the total costs.
