Erasmus Mundus AMASE Scholarship 2027

European School of Materials (EUSMAT), Saarland University

Overview

About this opportunity

The Erasmus Mundus AMASE Scholarship 2027 funds a two year joint master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, studied at two partner universities in Europe and leading to a double Master of Science degree. The consortium brings together Saarland University in Germany, Lulea University of Technology in Sweden, Universite de Lorraine in France, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya in Spain, Montanuniversitat Leoben in Austria and the University of Padua in Italy. A full Erasmus Mundus scholarship covers participation costs in full for four semesters, pays EUR 1,400 per month for 24 months, and includes basic health insurance cover in the EU. A partial Erasmus Mundus scholarship covers the participation costs in full for four semesters but pays no monthly allowance. The monthly allowance is meant to cover visa, accommodation and travel costs as well, with no additional funding for those items. Students who have previously obtained an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship are not eligible for another one.

Utrecht University NL Scholarship 2027

The Utrecht University NL Scholarship 2027 is a partial scholarship for international students from outside the European Economic Area who start an international masters programme at Utrecht University on 1 September 2027. Financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, it offers EUR 5,000, EUR 10,000 or EUR 15,000 in the first year of study. Not all programmes participate, so you must check the tuition fees and financial support information on your chosen masters programme page. Selection is based on your academic background as shown in your masters programme application, your motivation explaining the relevance of your time in the Netherlands and at Utrecht University to your future goals, and the quality and feasibility of your financial plan. You must complete a Statement of Financial Resources showing how you will cover the remaining costs for the full nominal duration of the programme, because the scholarship covers only part of the total costs.
